Hyper Growth Through Digital Enablement

Founded in 2020, Maverick Power has grown into one of America’s fastest-growing manufacturers, growing revenue 27x within their first six years.  They have won many awards while setting records with some of the following:

  • No. 16 on the 2025 Inc. 5000
  • No. 2 among U.S. manufacturers
  • No. 1 in Texas  manufacturer based on growth
  • No. 1 in the Dallas Business Journal Fast 50

Maverick Power’s growth has been extraordinary, and while wanting to continue accelerating growth, it has also created new challenges: building an enterprise capable of sustaining the velocity without allowing operational complexity to slow it down.

Cooperative Computing was introduced to Maverick Power as a key potential partner in their growth and together we have established a strong relationship of trust and extraordinary outcomes utilizing a focused approach for Digital Enablement spanning the entire organization.

The Challenge: Growth Was Outpacing the Operating Model

Maverick Power’s teams were delivering exceptional results, but many of the processes supporting that growth remained disconnected and people-dependent, ultimately limiting scale. Key challenges included:

  • Siloed departments: Sales, engineering, procurement, production, finance, operations, and project delivery were not consistently working from the same information.
  • Inefficient processes: Manual handoffs, duplicated data entry, spreadsheets, and rework consumed valuable employee capacity.
  • Operational friction: Delays between quoting, engineering, purchasing, production, and delivery made it harder to maintain speed as volume increased.
  • Non-integrated legacy systems: ERP, CRM, quoting, manufacturing, engineering, HR, finance, and service platforms operated independently.
  • Non-unified customer profiles: Client information was entered in multiple places and was not consistently connected from marketing through delivery.
  • Disparate data sources: Four to five analysts regularly chased information, requested system access, and reconciled data before analysis could begin.
  • Limited automation: Routine execution depended heavily on employees manually monitoring, updating and coordinating activities across multiple systems.

Maverick Power did not simply need another application. It needed a digitally enabled operating model.

Cooperative Computing worked with the Maverick Power team to identify the operational constraints limiting scalable growth, covering:

  • Organizational roles and responsibilities
  • Cross-functional methods and procedures
  • Existing systems and technologies
  • Enterprise data and reporting
  • Key performance indicators
  • Opportunities for automation and Digital People

This collaborative process ensured strategic alignment, shared ownership, and a clear focus on the highest-impact improvements. Together, the teams established strategic focus for three business outcomes:

  • Continuing accelerated revenue growth
  • Dramatically improve operational capabilities for scale
  • Implement automated capabilities and intelligence utilizing data-driven decisions

This “work with” approach enabled practical, sustainable redesign rather than imposed change.  We leveraged select existing systems while filling critical gaps and connecting both previous and new systems using Cooperative Computing tools and applications. Central to the solution is the Cooperative Computing Digital Edge™, which delivered new visibility and actionable insights. This enabled the organization to move from limited information access to real-time, data-driven decision-making.  The integrated system has strengthened process controls, improved workflow quality, and created a connected operating environment supporting faster, more reliable execution. This has enabled Maverick Power with:

  • Align leaders around shared enterprise priorities
  • Replace isolated departmental projects with a sequenced roadmap
  • Clarify ownership across critical processes
  • Connect quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and plan-to-produce workflows
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, effort, risk, and dependency
  • Establish performance measures across functions

The result is a common execution plan for scaling the enterprise.

Cooperative Computing also developed five role-based Digital Applications™ within the Digital Edge™ deployment.  These are:

  • Pipeline Manager
  • Production Manager
  • Engineering Manager
  • Procurement Manager
  • Project Manager

These Digital Applications™ are helping the organization:

  • Reduce duplicate data entry
  • Eliminate manual reconciliation between systems
  • Give departments shared operational visibility
  • Connect customer information from opportunity through delivery
  • Surface issues before they become downstream delays
  • Provide leaders with faster access to trusted information

Being central to the Maverick Power solution, the Cooperative Computing Digital Edge™ is delivering new visibility and actionable insights. This is enabling the organization to move from limited information access to real-time, data-driven decision-making.

To do this well, you need more than consensus. You need clarity. And clarity usually requires a strategic partner. Maverick Power and Cooperative Computing continue working to accelerate Maverick Power into the Automated Economy by enhancing their digital enablement.
